FDIC Insurance may dry up this year

And more recent news on that – FDIC might get loan of $500 Billion (is there ANY safe place to have your money these days?) example of the new promised transparency: Fed Refuses to Release Bank Data, Insists on Secrecy – apparently they are afraid that if the people knew the TRUTH about the banks, the people wouldn’t put their money in those banks….. Hmmmm of America Says Bonus Disclosure Will Harm It (Ya’ think??) Bailout Details

http://www.financialstability.gov2 types of plans – these two plans are designed to help:

5 million people who cannot refinance due to value of home

Must be primary residence

Mortgage must be guaranteed by Fannie or Freddie Mac

Must be current on payments

the amount you owe on your first mortgage must be about the same or less than the current value of your house (the radio and prior documentation says value of house must be within 105% of current mortgage)

4 million people who might defaulting on their loans – lost jobs, etc

Must be primary residence

Owe less than $729,750

Must prove hardship (have you experienced a significant increase in your mortgage payment, reduction in your income since you got your current loan, have you suffered a hardship that has increased your expenses like medical bills?)

Loan must have been taken before start of 2009

May turn off gas to Ukraine on Saturday (mom have you heard from Yegor lately – he may have gotten worried and returned home to his family) working with Russia on Missile Defense Plans (yet more secrecy and denial – so just WHAT exactly does it mean to suggest an incentive rather than offer a specific deal – sounds like clever word smithing to me) next time………..
